Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for configuring an AI that can talk to thousands of people.
Effective September 7, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the TechMaven AI platform (the "Services") provided by TechMaven LLC ("TechMaven," "we," "us," or "our"), and forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension or termination of access in accordance with the Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
This AUP sets out the rules that apply to Customer's configuration and use of an AI Employee and to any content sent through the Services, in order to protect End Users, our Subprocessors and carrier partners, and the integrity of the Services.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Customer must not use the Services, and must not configure an AI Employee, to:
Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third party right, including intellectual property, privacy, and consumer protection laws.
Send unsolicited commercial communications by call, text, or email in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, or any applicable state or carrier requirement.
Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent Customer's identity, affiliation, or authority.
Deceive an End User about the fact that they are interacting with an artificial intelligence system when asked, or otherwise defeat the AI-disclosure functionality described in the Terms of Service.
Provide regulated legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice that Customer is not licensed to provide.
Discriminate against, harass, threaten, or defraud any person, or target any person on the basis of a legally protected characteristic.
Collect, request, or store sensitive personal data, including government identification numbers, precise health information, or full payment card numbers, beyond what is reasonably necessary for the configured use case and appropriate safeguards.
Transmit malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or another customer's data, or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Services. - Use the Services to build, train, or benchmark a competing product, or to scrape or extract data from the Services other than through the export functionality provided.
Engage in a High-Risk Use, as defined in the Terms of Service, without prior written confirmation from TechMaven that appropriate safeguards are in place.
3. Communications and Carrier Compliance
Where an AI Employee is configured to call, text, or email End Users, Customer must obtain and document any consent required by applicable law before enabling that channel, must honor opt- out and do-not-contact requests within the timeframe required by law, and must comply with any registration, content, or throughput requirements imposed by mobile carriers or messaging associations for application-to-person messaging. TechMaven may suspend a messaging or calling capability that a carrier identifies as non-compliant, with notice to Customer where practicable.
4. Fair Use of Platform Resources
Customer must not use the Services in a manner that places unreasonable load on shared infrastructure, circumvents usage limits associated with its plan, or is designed to abuse free trial or promotional offers, including creating multiple accounts to obtain trial benefits to which Customer is not entitled.
5. Reporting Violations
Suspected violations of this AUP, including by another customer, should be reported to security@techmavs.com. We will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include a warning, suspension, or termination, consistent with the Terms of Service.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may remove or disable access to content, suspend an AI Employee or account, or terminate the Services in accordance with the Terms of Service. Where reasonably practicable and not itself prohibited by law, we will provide notice to Customer before taking action, but we may act immediately where necessary to prevent harm to End Users, to a carrier or Subprocessor, or to the security of the Services.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified in accordance with Section 25 of the Terms of Service.
